The Next Academy class of 2026 has officially completed the 6-month programme.

Yesterday, the students presented their solutions from the concluding hackathon and proved they are ready to take charge of ServiceNow in their respective organizations. 🎓

We believe learning happens through doing. For the final hackathon, instructor Henrik Højager gave the teams a realistic challenge: rescuing a failing ServiceNow setup for a global company.

This was not a standard textbook exercise. The students upgraded an instance, set up a MID-server, integrated with Microsoft Active Directory, and built an incident integration to an external vendor. Also, they had to integrate to Philips Hue, showcasing breached SLA's or State changes on incidents.

They also mapped out a governance plan and demonstrated the practical value of CSDM to demanding stakeholders.

By creating a safe environment to experiment and solve complex problems, we attempt to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application. 💡

After the presentations, we celebrated the graduation with champagne and cake.

  • A group of people celebrating the ServiceNow Next Academy graduation in an office setting with a toast and a cake.
  • A celebratory spread on a wooden table for a ServiceNow event, featuring champagne, a chocolate cake, fruit, and a Danish flag.

Congratulations to the graduates - and thank you for active participation and setting the time aside. We look forward to following your ServiceNow journey going forward!
