About the course

Content
This 2-day course is a strategic guide to implementing ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM). You will learn how the framework connects business processes to technical infrastructure, creating a true single source of truth. We focus on a practical implementation path using the "Crawl, Walk, Run, Fly" methodology, empowering you to understand the model's value and advise your organization on a successful adoption strategy.

Outcome
After the course, you will be able to design a data model for your own organization based on CSDM principles and implement it using out-of-the-box ServiceNow tools.

Target Audience
This course is designed for strategic roles, including Architects, Product and Service Owners, CMDB Owners, Business Analysts, Process Owners, CIOs, and CTOs. Participant Requirements No specific technical prerequisites are required, but an understanding of ITIL and business processes is beneficial. We recommend that participants first complete our 2-day CMDB course if they are to possess a technical role in relation to CSDM.

The Value of a Common Data Model
CSDM provides a shared language that unites your entire business. By mapping services from the customer portfolio down to the individual CIs, organizations achieve unprecedented transparency. This unified view is essential for accurate impact analysis and better decision-making, allowing you to link technology directly to how your business creates and delivers value.
