From Consultant to In-House – and Back Again
Adam Larsen began his career as a Microsoft consultant, a role he held for ten years. He then moved on to positions at PureGym and later Global Connect, where he found his way into the world of ServiceNow.
“I missed the professional curiosity and the variety of challenges you encounter as a consultant.”
Today, Adam is one of our ServiceNow specialists, focusing on ITSM and CSM. His experience from working on the customer side has given him valuable insight when advising and supporting companies with their ServiceNow solutions.
“When you’re working in-house, there are many different factors to consider. That’s why the best technological solution isn’t always the one that wins—it may not fit the organization’s structure or internal dynamics. I’ve gained a much deeper understanding of what it takes for a solution to actually be used and create value.”
For Adam, it’s important to build solutions that truly work in everyday operations—not just rush on to the next task.
“King Christian IV believed that those who cast his cannons should sit on them the first time they were fired. I really like that principle, because it speaks to delivering a product you can truly stand behind,” Adam concludes.
